MARRC Presents at IACSS in Canada June 2007

MARRC research was presented at the 6th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport on June 3rd-6th in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Two presentations were given by technical engineers; Georgie Fenton and Sarah Churchill, on the following projects;

‘How Useful do Athletes Find 2D Video Analysis Compared With 3D Motion Analysis?: A Preliminary Study’ by Georgie Fenton

‘The Validity of Marker Reconstruction Modelling for Biomechanical Analysis in Sport’ by Sarah Churchill

The delegates at the conference spanned over 20 different countries, the presentations showcased innovations and research from a variety of disciplines including topics such as data acquisition, modelling, analysis and technical advances.
