Bodystat Analysis
Bodystat is a tool to examine the body’s composition; it detects the amount of fat, lean (muscle and bone) and water present in the body as well as the percentage breakdown of the overall body. The device will also give clients normative data to compare against and aim for.
This service can help many people for example; someone wanting to lose weight, gain muscle, just find out what levels they should be reading at. The information is best used as ‘base line data’ meaning a client comes back for repeated measures and compares each set of readings to gather a history trend and monitor the progression of the goals that the client and examiner jointly agree on.
The assessment comprises of filling out a questionnaire prior to testing and then a 10/15min appointment. This is all taken place with in MARRC although like previous companies (Chamber of Commerce) you can request multiple assessments taken place in the workplace if easier.
For the price of £10 (£7.50 for students) the client will receive a detailed assessment and a report comprising of personal data, normative values, explanation on reading the data, easy to understand graphs and tables with advice from the examiner on future adjustments to make within the clients lifestyle.
